The boss lecturing at the Superbowl. I told you it was going to be a master class. He doesn't know anything about football but... who cares?
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed a micro 12-minute gig at halftime of the 43rd Super Bowl 2009. He sang "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out", mini-version of "Born To Run" (No wendy part), then "Working on a Dream" (new album necessary promotion) and last "Glory Days" (football version, no baseball player of course, and "Hail Mary" instead of "speedball").
The show was brief but intense; if you've never seen him perform live, it's basically like this but three hours more or less (usually more). And don't miss Little Steven shouting it's boss time after admitting he doesn't know what penalty time is.
Super Bowl XLIII (2009) - Bruce Springsteen at the Halftime Show (make sure to watch it HD).
After watching this, who is going to miss his next tour? (Not me, obviously).
