Better in the middle

For years, we have been told about the price of environmental distruction. We have been warned about the direct effects of global warming on the environment and what we can do to reduce its present and future impact. Governments and different organisations believe that global warming, for instance, is a serious issue and if it continues on the path it is heading, there will be far-reaching consequences including melting glaciers and severe droughts.
On the other hand, people like Freeman Dyson thinks that we should be more practical about the measures to take and even casts doubt upon global warming as our more dangerous environmental threat.
I don't really know who's right or wrong, but I once promised myself that I would be one of those skeptics who take everything coming from politics or the media with a pinch of salt. Remember all the political lies and media disinformation regarding the 2009 Swine Flu Pandemic. That is not to say that I am not concerned about the environment: things as simple as using a fluorescent light bulb over an incandescent light bulb can preserve energy, and that is something good for the environment anyway, whether you believe or not in climate change.

So sad

Sometimes coincidences are cruel and make you sad, so sad. Tonight there is a little angel on his way to heaven and I can't find the right prayer to pray. May our dear little neighbour rest in peace and may his parents gather the strength to carry on.

Love is full of accidents
the break is never clean.
We may not capture what we want,
just the things we need.
Untie the knots inside this mind
and set this spirit free.
There's another trail of tears;
they all lead back to me.
So sad, so sad
The things we never had
So sad, so sad, so sad.
